Jenny Sugiarto

Jenny Sugiarto is a Director of Mergers at the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

Before joining the CMA in 2021, she worked at KPMG and RBB Economics advising on competition matters, including several high-profile global mergers, market investigations, State aid investigations, follow-on damage claims and abuse of dominance investigations into predatory pricing, loyalty rebates and excessive pricing.

Ranked by Who’s Who Legal as “most highly regarded” in the Competition Economists: Future Leaders category, Jenny is described as “highly impressive”, gaining praise for her first-class work, her “quick, high-quality reaction to developments” and her “sharp eye for strategy”.   

She holds a MSc in Economics for Regulation and Competition from City University and a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
