Ermelinda Spinelli

Ermelinda Spinelli is a partner in the ‘Antitrust, Competition and Trade’ group.

Based in Italy, and having also worked in Brussels (where she spent seven years) and London, Ermelinda’s practice covers all aspects of EU and Italian competition law, with particular experience of cartel and dominance investigations, complex and multi-jurisdictional merger reviews and antitrust compliance and audits. Ermelinda has also gained antitrust litigation experience before the EU courts. Her experience crosses a range of industry sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing, technology and transport.

Since 2018 Ermelinda is recognised in Who’s Who Legal: Competition – Future Leaders and since 2020 she is recognised as a National Leader.

In November 2019 Ermelinda was recognized as a Rising Star in Competition and Antitrust at the Legal Media Group’s Europe Rising Stars Awards.

Ermelinda graduated in law from the University of Pavia, and she holds a PhD in International Law from Milan State University.
