Plenary session

Future of Antitrust in America and in Europe

According to some commentators in the last decades competition policy has been plagued by underenforcement, leading to increased concentration and stronger market power across all industries and in particular in high-tech markets. In this session four prominent economists will discuss what should, could or will be likely done to remedy this state of affairs. They will identify the industries and areas of antitrust enforcement that will experience more activity and the tools that will be employed.
